Ingredients:
- 100gm chopped fresh mushrooms
- 1 chopped onion
- 25 gm margarine
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 100 gm fresh breadcrumbs (white or brown)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- A little beaten egg to bind
Directions:
- Lightly fry the onions and mushrooms in the margarine until just changing colour.
- Add the breadcrumbs, parsley, salt and pepper.
- Finally, bind the mixture with the beaten egg.
- Then stuff the chicken and roast as usual.
Note:
Make double the amount for a great whole turkey stuffing.
