Simon is an anointed and inspirational teacher and both interweaves and unpacks the Romans 11 "all Israel will be saved" narrative with a liberating understanding of the 'what' and 'why' of the Holocaust – possibly humanity's most tragic piece of history.
He left the meat industry to become an evangelist then trained for ordination at Trinity College, Bristol. He holds a BA and MLitt in Theology and served a curacy in Bradford before becoming Oxford Pastorate Chaplain in 1998.
He has been the Pastor of Theology at St Aldates since 2005 - teaching courses in theology, weekly expository preaching and taking up a wider itinerant ministry. He is the author of several books on theology and spirituality.
